"Contrasting Experiences: Memorable Dining at 'Patio' vs. Disappointing Post-Checkout Service"

The dining experience was fantastic, especially at the "Patio" restaurant where the food was truly delicious. Mr. Sooraj and the rest of the staff were exceptional, showing great hospitality. We enjoyed every meal, and even when we went sightseeing, the restaurant staff kindly packed hash potatoes and donuts for my son. Their kindness made the experience even more memorable.

The cab and sightseeing services provided by the hotel were considerably pricier than external options. We requested the hotel's assistance in securing transportation from outside, and initially, they agreed to arrange it. However, post-checkout, the staff's attitude took a turn, and they became uncooperative, refusing to fulfill our request. It was surprising and disappointing to experience such a change in attitude; everything was smooth during check-in, but we faced a lack of support after checking out.

The location of the hotel was good.

I asked the property to upgrade my room from 1BHk to a deluxe room. The property manager actually degraded my room and charged me extra 2K. The room allocated did not have any ventilation. Also the room was not park facing

Location and the staff

The rooms are not very good and not a value for the money, there no hot running water in the mornings due to usage by all guests and I feel that’s lack of capacity compared to number of guests.

We loved the location , the spa , yoga and buffet breakfast.

While the location and view from the pool is outstanding , the hotel is in need of some TLC. It’s old and tired . Our floor tiles were broken . The bathroom was not clean. Not sufficient towels either. Loved the size of the room. It was very expensive and did not feel luxurious . The spa was luxurious however . Sonya was outstanding!

Not enough dining choices with ridiculous hours. We had not eaten lunch so were ready to dine 6 pm but the restaurant was closed until 7 pm. That is not the way a hotel should operate. Dining service should be open all day as guests have very individual schedules !

A lot more improvements in cleanliness standards are needed to justify price of the Room with guest friendly approach

The Ganga view Food @ Patio

The cleanliness and low hygienic standards in the room allotted initially. It was a nightmare added to this the Unfriendly behavior @ reception staff when repeated requests for change of room was made. Until the matter reached with shouts every request we’re ignored purposely Accidentally we cld bang the Room Manager and she set right the things but the whole of first day was spoiled (50%) of our stay

The views were great, staff was friendly, food was good and location was convenient.

The apartments are older and the walk between the reception and the apartment is also quite confusing. There was leakage from the AC in our room which was directly onto the Tv placed below the AC. It seemed unsafe in that manner.

Good location but building looks old and galleries also need maintenance. Food is good. But cost is very high.

The swimming pool and the view on the Ganges. The food for breakfast and dinner was very good, with lots of choice

Rather outdated accommodation both inside and outside the room. Monkeys are funny, but actually you couldn't be on the balcony. And it doesn't add to the hygiene.

Good place which I would like to visit again.

Excellent location, friendly staff, good food, nice rooms layout

The room smelled bad but even after repeated complaints was not properly addressed, surprised at the water allocation in the room - asked for more bottles but was not served.

Paradise on earth

Everything. From morning walks, to yoga, the morning masala chai followed by breakfast, and lovely a la carte menu for dinner in a restaurant where you have a choice to sit under the sky or in an enclosed restaurant.

Family stay

Property is in nice location , it’s neat and clean. Rooms are big and spacious with all amenities. Welcome drink and quick check in was highly appreciated.

Lunch at patio (al a carte restaurant)was not great. Overpriced with very tiny portions. We had just one meal there and decided to have rest of the meals outside, where cafes served very tasty and reasonable priced .The Ganges view is from the top, no direct access from the hotel. There was a construction in the room below us and the drilling noise was very bothersome. More irritating was the fact that reception staff did not pay heed on calling and informing them of the concern. I had to personally come down , take them along to get the work stopped after 3 hours !! was a very bad experience especially when u want to rest in afternoon.

Had a really good relaxing time in a beautiful location.

The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfasts were amazing. Other meals were also good. We were very well taken care of.

Power cuts in the area were a little disruptive - not really the hotels fault. Rooms were a little cold - but we were supplied heaters. Available tv channels too few especially English ones.
